Sorry, I have been a little busy and haven't introduced myself. I am an attorney specializing in litigation, defense side. My special interests are intellectual property and mediation. My pet project is working with artists. What do all of you do? What would you like to accomplish with this tribe. Any thoughts? I look forward to meeting each of you.

Re: Greetings
Thu, May 13, 2004 - 11:29 PMI work in brand development, marketing and interactive media. I work with the entertainment community a lot and tend to run into legal road blocks or get screwed altogether. I joined this tribe because I need a resource. I often have questions but don't know who to ask. I wish I had a "Miranda" on my brunch outings. Thanks Jules for starting this tribe.

Fri, May 14, 2004 - 8:42 AMIP for me. Trademarks for local merchants and licensing for those inventors lucky enough to have gotten away with worthwhile patents. Copyright wrangling. Biting the forces of evil that exploit would-be models and musicians. Pro bono in many exotic locales such as criminal, juvenile, and immigration. You wouldn't think from my prose style that I made Law Review, would you? Also, Jodie is PRETTY. -

Sun, September 12, 2004 - 10:34 AMWhat I have to contribute is that I am licensed in both California and Texas, and located in Texas, though I spent a year in the So-Cal courts. Sometimes California lawyers need local counsel or assistance in Texas, especially with all the commerce going on between Silicon Valley and Silicon Hills (Austin.)
I'm also interested in hearing what's going on in California law. -
